Residential Roofing Services

Protecting Charlotte homes with professional roofing

Roof installation, replacement, repairs and storm restoration for homeowners throughout the Charlotte metro, delivered with reliability, workmanship and the peace of mind that comes from a written scope and an honest answer.

For homeowners

Your roof protects everything underneath it

A roof is the one part of a house that quietly protects every other part. When it is working, nobody thinks about it. When it is not, everything underneath is at risk: insulation, drywall, framing, flooring, furniture and the people who live there.

Charlotte roofs work hard. Summer heat and UV age shingles faster than many homeowners expect, afternoon thunderstorms bring hail and wind, pollen and algae streak north-facing slopes, and the occasional remnant of a tropical system tests every flashing on the house. Our residential track exists to handle all of it with a single standard: do the job properly, explain it clearly and leave the property better than we found it.

Reliability

We show up when we say we will, keep the roof dried in every night and finish the job we quoted. A roofing project should make your life easier, not harder.

Workmanship

Ventilation, flashing, underlayment and nailing patterns are the details that decide whether a roof lasts. We install every system to the manufacturer's specification, not to the fastest pace.

Peace of mind

Plain-language recommendations, a written scope before any work and honest answers when a repair is the right call instead of a replacement.

Homeowner questions

Residential roofing questions, answered plainly

How do I know whether my roof needs repair or replacement?
Age, the extent of the damage, how many layers are on the roof and the condition of the decking all factor in. An isolated leak or a few wind-damaged shingles on an otherwise sound roof is usually a repair. Widespread granule loss, brittle shingles, multiple leaks or a roof near the end of its typical lifespan usually points to replacement. We inspect first, show you the photos and recommend the option that makes sense for your home.
Which shingle is right for a Charlotte home?
Architectural shingles are the most common choice for Charlotte homes because they handle heat, UV and wind well and suit most neighborhood guidelines. Impact-rated shingles are worth considering in hail-prone areas. Metal, slate and tile each have their place on the right home, and we will tell you plainly when one of them is or is not worth the investment.
Do you handle HOA and architectural review requirements?
Yes. Many Charlotte-area neighborhoods require color and material approval before a roof replacement. We provide the product information and samples your HOA needs and schedule the work once approval is in hand.
How long does a residential roof replacement take?
Most single-family roof replacements are completed in one to two working days once materials are on site, depending on roof size, complexity and weather. Larger or more intricate roofs, slate and tile, and projects involving decking repairs take longer. You will have a schedule before work begins.
What happens if a storm damages my roof?
Call us. We provide temporary dry-in when needed, document the damage with photos and a written scope, and can meet your adjuster on site. Coverage decisions belong to you and your insurer; our job is to make sure the damage is properly documented and the roof is properly restored.
